"The Chapman Historical Museum is a restored house museum featuring furnishings and historical artifacts depicting life in Glens Falls, New York, United States during the late 19th century. The museum is owned and operated by the Glens Falls/Queensbury Historical Association. The home that houses the museum was originally built by Zopher DeLong and restored in 1968."
HRCCU Ambassadors spent the day on Saturday, November 2 maintaining the grounds of Double H Ranch located in Lake Luzerne, New York, in the beautiful Adirondack Park. Double H Ranch has an important place in our hearts as we care about our local community and some of our current employees have volunteered or worked there in the past. We had so much fun cleaning up the grounds for few hours and enjoying a crisp fall morning at Double H supporting their amazing cause.
This fall, HRCCU is supporting families in need by holding a Winter Coat Drive. Please consider donating to our cause by dropping of new and gently used clothing. Accepted items include: coats, scarves, gloves, hats, and boots.
On October 5, HRCCU representatives sponsored a fun filled day for local youth in Stony Creek, NY. In total, HRCCU donated 100 pumpkins to the festivities. Other activities included a bouncy house, crafting magic wands, and a puppet show. HRCCU feels there is no better way to spend a Saturday than giving back to our community!
At HRCCU, we welcome students to our branches to learn and experience what we do everyday. On June 6th, 2019, our Corinth branch hosted 23 students in our youth banking program from Stuart M Townsend Elementary School in Hadley-Luzerne for their end-of-the-year field trip!
